These aliens tentacles are currently bursting out the wall, above the bar of the immersive theatre production of War of the Worlds in London.

 

Richard took the arts directors illustration of the seen and turned it into a computerised 3D model. This was then used to make laser cut sections, assembled at he workshop before being dismantled for transporting to sight and reassembled.  The claws are made out of old cast iron brackets, cut down and welded back together.
